Here is the menu for the upcoming formal dinner on Saturday, October 24th. It will be catered as our own private dinner, as last year. The creation of Bonne Cuisine by Michael, we know it will be delicious.
An indication of your preference for the chicken breast or leg of lamb, and whether or not you want to have dessert is appreciated. We need to know ahead of time if you want to order the vegetarian meal.

Down Under Club Formal Dinner
Scandinavian Cultural Centre, Winnipeg
Guest arrival at 6:00 PM | Dinner service at 6:30 PM
Cost is $30 per guest and $37 per guest if you want to include dessert. Both costs include fresh baked bread, coffee/tea service, taxes and gratuities.
- Mixed Field Greens with Shaved Jicama & Fresh Berries tossed with a sherry vinaigrette
|OR| Goat Cheese & Roasted Beet Salad over maple glazed mixed greens topped with pecans
- Stuffed Breast of Chicken served with a sour cherry sauce
|OR| Smoked Leg of Lamb, medium to medium rare served with a minted red wine demi-glaze
|OR| Vegetarian Entrée, available on pre-order only: Organic Roasted Vegetables Purse with plum tomatoes & fresh basil wrapped in phyllo pastry
- Seasonal Potatoes & Colourful Array of Fresh Vegetables
- Dessert (optional, $7): Bittersweet Chocolate Terrine with fruit coulis & Chantilly cream
These prices are based on minimum of 30 guests, so we need to have your confirmation as soon as possible. Remember that you are welcome to invite friends and family along to join us. The more the merrier!
