ANZAC Day commemoration
This coming Saturday, April 26, 2014, members and guests of the DUCW will commemorate ANZAC Day at the Scandinavian Cultural Centre at 764 Erin starting at 6:00 pm. We hope that as many of you as possible will be there for our ceremony and potluck dinner (details in the April Yarn). Please take some time beforehand to visit the many websites and newspapers in Australia and New Zealand where some detailed and moving tributes to the ANZACs are available – NZ history online, ANZAC Tour, 100 Years of ANZAC, and 100 years of untold stories from ANZAC to Afghanistan.
