Arnott’s launches new cake-inspired Tim Tam

Arnott’s launches new cake-inspired Tim TamArnott’s, the makers of the iconic Australian chocolate coated Tim Tam biscuits, has launched a new cake-inspired Tim Tam variety in Australia in collaboration with celebrity patissier Adriano Zumbo.

Inspired by the Red Velvet Cup Cake, Tim Tam Red Velvet is a combination of vibrant red biscuits and a velvety cream cheese centre, coated in a layer of Tim Tam milk chocolate.

Mr Zumbo, who is an Australian and French-trained patissier, is best known for his elaborate desserts and has developed a following thanks to his appearances on television show MasterChef in 2010. As part of Tim Tam’s 50th anniversary celebrations this year, Mr Zumbo created three limited edition flavours. The Red Velvet Tim Tam is the fourth dessert-inspired Tim Tam flavour in the limited edition range launched in March 2014.

“It’s been an honour to personally develop my own range of Tim Tam biscuits,” Mr Zumbo said. “I grew up on the iconic findviagra.com Aussie bikkie and have always dreamed about putting my own twist on it,” he said.

“Following the success of our first collection, we’re thrilled to launch Tim Tam Red Velvet — designed to taste like one of my favourite cakes,” Mr Zumbo said.

Laura Hindson, Tim Tam Brand Manager, said it was “always a pleasure to work with a dessert master like Adriano Zumbo”.

“Tim Tam Red Velvet is an exciting addition to the popular Tim Tam by Adriano Zumbo collection of unique, fun, indulgent and innovative flavours,” Ms Hindson said. “We’re looking forward to hearing what our Tim Tam fans think of the new Tim Tam Red Velvet,” she said.

Adriano Zumbo’s Tim Tam Red Velvet will be available exclusively at Woolworths supermarkets and independent grocery stores from July 21, 2014 for RRP $3.25.
